The day's itinerary: Barbaresco, Alba and Barolo
After a 75-minute transfer to the Langhe, the first stop is Barbaresco, where you visit a family-run winery and taste the wines, ending with a stroll through the medieval village beneath its 11th-century tower (about 1.5 hours).
Next is Alba, the gastronomic capital of Piedmont, famous for white truffles and Nutella, born here in 1964. Free time for an optional lunch and a city walk (about 2 hours).
The afternoon takes you to Barolo, in one of the eleven communes authorised to produce this great red. A second cellar visit and a final tasting close the day in style (about 1.5 hours), before the transfer back to Turin.
