The Diamond of Piedmont's Woods Awaits
Some experiences are remembered forever, and this is one of them. In the woods between Turin and Cocconato, every season delivers its own scents hidden beneath the soil, and only those who truly know these places know how to find them.

Pickup from Turin or Cocconato

Accompanied by an expert truffle hunter and his loyal dog, you'll venture into a landscape that seems to belong to another era. It's not just a walk: it's a true ritual made of silences, precise sniffs and that sudden joy when the dog marks the right spot.
After the thrill of the hunt, the table takes centre stage. A traditional Piedmontese lunch paired with local wines closes the day in the most satisfying way possible. An experience that is well worth its price.
From the forest to the table: a full day in the heart of Piedmont
The day starts with pickup in Turin or directly in Cocconato, in the heart of the Astigiano Monferrato, one of the most truffle-rich areas of the entire Piedmont region. The truffle hunter will welcome you with his trained dogs, ready to lead you on one of the most fascinating and ancient activities of the territory.
During the hunt in the woods, you'll learn to recognise the signals that the dogs pick up thanks to their extraordinary sense of smell. The truffle hunter will explain traditional techniques, the best seasons and the secrets handed down from generation to generation. An authentic experience, far from mass tourism and close to the true rural soul of Piedmont.
At the end of the search, it's time to sit at the table. A traditional Piedmontese lunch awaits you, prepared with local ingredients and, of course, enriched with the truffles just unearthed. Wines from the region accompany every course.
The experience is suitable for everyone, requires no particular fitness level and takes place in small groups to ensure personalised attention. Setting off from Turin makes it all even easier: in less than an hour you reach a completely different world.

Useful tips
