- Indossa calzature pratiche e con buona suola: la salita verso l'abbazia e i percorsi interni prevedono gradini irregolari e superfici in pietra, spesso umide nelle stagioni di transizione.
- Muoviti partendo da Torino preventivamente: la Sacra di San Michele è situato a all'incirca 40 km dal cuore cittadino centro urbano in direzione Val di Susa. con automezzo si raggiunge comodamente in meno di un'ora seguendo l'autostrada A32.
- Tieni presente di portare un abbigliamento a strati: anche in mesi estivi la temperatura in quota può essere sensibilmente più fresca rispetto alla pianura torinese, in particolare all'ombra delle mura dell'abbazia.
